Happy feet & bedtime!

Andrew is growing up so fast, and it never escapes amazing me at just how much he can learn and how fast. He holds an object up to me and watches me say it (like Ball) and he concentrates so hard to try to say it! Everything still comes out Da! but I'm pleased to say Ma! is working it's way into the mix! I think Andrew has figured out where his feet are! Lately, since he's had a terrible bout of eczema we have been giving him an oatmeal bath at night. The oatmeal bath makes the water look dirty to the point that you can't see anything underwater. When he's sitting there, I will ask him where his feet are, and he will start kicking his legs so his feet come out of the water! Then he just laughs like he is so proud of himself! He will do the same thing in his carseat, but nowhere else!

Andrew's bedtime is 8:00. Lately, as if on cue, at 8:00, he will stand up, grab his blankie and walk to his room to go to bed! He has done it 3 nights in a row! He gets to his crib, and then turns around and puts his arms up for me to lift him into bed. This is nothing we have taught him, he has just started doing it on his own!
